What to Call Us
We’re R+D, pronounced “R plus D” and written as “R+D”.
Kitsch, Please is our line of 3D printed jewelry. (No hyphen is needed in 3D.)
Hyggelig Ever After is our line of laser cut home goods.
R+D is centered around digital fabrication using sustainable resources. Our primary brand, Kitsch, Please, is bold, colorful, and original 3D printed jewelry. It is made in NYC and printed with plant-based materials.
R+D is woman owned and operated.
From the outside, R+D is about having fun: Our product names and social media posts are full of puns and our designs are fun, colorful, and bold.
What sets R+D apart are the details: We are committed to sustainable business practices like choosing a plant based materials and offsetting emissions from shipping. We also take great care in the smallest design details. R+D uses five 3D printers that are all carefully calibrated to print almost impossibly clear detail.
Overall, R+D hopes to inspire people to think differently about sustainability and digital manufacturing through fun, bold, and creative designs.
