Within the past year I added, reorganized, and revamped my studio space. Nothing pushes you into this type of overhaul quite like getting a new piece of furniture, which is exactly how this project got started. Seems like an appropriate start for sharing some studio highlights!
Last fall I got a text from D asking if I wanted a vintage steel card catalog that was being thrown out at his work. The answer was an obvious yes. Once we finally got the drawers back to Queens we set to work cleaning, removing old paint from the handles, polishing, and finally painting the entire thing again.
Now this is where R+D back stock gets stored. Earrings are organized by color and everything else has a space in a drawer. There is both more space to store things now and everything can be easily accessed when needed.
